Pass Plus has been designed by The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and driving instructors.

Pass Plus builds upon the skills and knowledge recently acquired by newly qualified drivers with the aims of making them safer and more confident once they have passed their test. Statistics show that newly qualified drivers are far more likely to be involved in an accident than any other road user.

Although Pass Plus is an additional cost following your previous lessons, many insurers will discount the insurance on your new car. In many cases, this discount is greater than the amount you will pay for a course of Pass Plus lessons.

Pass Plus is made up of six modules which assess all forms of driving. There is no test at the end of the course but you must reach a pre-defined standard to succesfully pass the course.
